You may have noticed that some members have some pretty cool looking "avatars" or pics next to their names when the post.

I would be happy to make one for you, it might take a few days, but all I will need is a couple pictures (they dont have to be running pictures, any picture that you like will work) and a brief description about yourself that you might like in your avatar. Again, they dont have to be running based pictures.

Here is why my user name is "because I CAN " Have you ever talked to non runners and tell them you have just run 10 miles or whatever you just ran and they just dont get it or I hear people all the time say why do you run. Why do you get up so early bla bla bla bla bla. My answer is always the same because I can. They will never know what it is like to run the distant. Only A runner knows. Make me an avatar based off of that please.

Admin, would love for your to create an avatar for me. This year is my year to achieve Optimal Health, running is a huge part of that. I love to run early in the am and watch the sun rise, if I can watch it rise over water it's like the perfect run no matter how many miles I get in. God is first in my life, then family, then RUNNING. Trying to think of a better user name too, any suggestions?

I just joined and would love my own avatar! I started running just before I turned 30 - well over 10 years ago. I live on 2 rivers and my main jogging route goes over a draw bridge. It's a beautiful view no matter what time of day here on the east coast!

I've been running now for about 5 years. 7 half marathons. 3 25k trail runs, 1 18 mile trail run and 2 marathons. I'm not fast...1:54 half PR and 4:34 full PR. I'm confused as to go for more distance (50k or greater) or focus on speed (5k's or 10k's). I'm currently trying to maintain with 25 - 30 miles per week.

Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl, and I'm from Tennessee. I suddenly decided 3 years ago, that I was going to start running. I hooked up with a personal trainer, who was a distance runner, and in a month she had me running. I haven't stopped since. I've only run 5ks so far, but I LOVE them. On Thanksgiving Day, I'm doing a 4 mile run, called the 'Boro Dash. Can't wait to meet you all!
