Forgot to introduce myself when I signed up.

I started running because when I first joined my gym overweight & unable to run at all, I saw a few people on the treadmills who never slowed, never stopped during my tour and sign up. I was never able to run, even as a child, and I thought, I want to do that!

I lost a bunch of weight, signed up for a marathon, and now I am a running junkie. I finished my last marathon with a bruised tailbone so that experience was a lot more painful than it should have been. My next one is in May and I hope to not injure myself before than. I never would have thought that running 26.2 miles is the most fun you could have in a day, but I also never thought I'd be able to loose the weight, or enjoy any kind of physical exertion either. Running changed my life for the better.

Default Intro

Hi everyone-

I had been lurking here for a while and also am a fan of R.R. on Facebook. I decided, oh what the heck, time to create an ID! So here I am.

I'm Stephanie and I'm from sunny Southern California. I got back into running in early 2007. Since then, I've ran several races off and on. Right now I'm currently 1/2 training and looking forward to the Disneyland Half in September. This will be the 5 Year Anniversary, so it should be tons of fun.

I look forward to meeting other runners here and getting tips that may help me in my training. Good luck to everyone training and your future races!

Everytime I read these I get all inspired all over again. I'm out with achilles tendonitis and bursitis but can't wait to get back at it! Run some miles for me
