Default 4th of July weekend races

I just went to register for a race at midnight on the 3rd of july over the Dunedin Causeway in Dunedin FL, pretty big race every year.
didnt get all the way through registration because im thinking about going away that weekend and didnt want to commit. what 4th of July weekend races are you doing??

I've been looking for runs around Pekin Indiana but haven't found any on line! I'm going to have to look when I get there. If I don't find any I will settle for running the hills around my sisters home. I'll cary some sparklers and wave a small flag. I'll call it the one woman 4rth of July 8k!

I'm doing a 10k race in Foxboro,Ma and you finish in the end zone in Patriots stadium so that should be cool..

It will be a busy weekend for us,
Fri 2nd, 1st time meeting our DD's boyfriends Mother for lunch
A wedding for some running friends Friday night,
then back to back morning races,
wrapped around the Texas Rangers baseball game Saturday night

Jul 3 Sat 8:00 AM DRC Independence 5K/10K Winfrey Point, White Rock Lake, Dallas, TX

July 4 Sun 7:30 AM Flagpole 8K Run, Norbuck Park, White Rock Lake, Dallas, TX

I'll be racing the Firecracker 5k in Wilmington, DE on Jul 03 (my bday). It's been about 4 yrs since I ran my last 5k (24:20 PR). I'm very confident I'll be bring down that PR!

Running the 29th annual Firecracker Classic 5k with my daughter here tomorrow. I ran the very first running of this race when I was 15 years old, weird how fast time runs...

I'm running the Free To Run 4 on the 4th on Harriet Island in St. Paul. Hope the rain stays away. Good luck everyone. How fun Gerald, enjoy the race with your daughter. Happy Birthday Anthony! Good luck today.
