I hope everyone's race was a success today! I ran the Wilmington Firecracker 5k this morning. Weather was perfect! low humidity, clear, around 60F. My time was 22:05 / 7:05 pace, 24th OA/3rd AG. I don't run 5k's often, my last was 5 yrs ago and I took over 2 min off my prev PR. I didn't think I would come in 3rd in my AG of 29-39. I have my bday PR and now itching to run another 5k soon.
Missed goal by 6 sec but overall a success!
