No ultras for me. Maybe when I am older and wiser. Good luck though!! I can't wait to hear how you do..

I am doing Reno Rocking River Half Marathon I wish they had an option on halfs to keep going at the half way point and pay for the upgrade at the finish I am kind of wishing I could run the full. I just haven't gotten any real long runs in since Napa Marathon March 7th. I am sooo tempted though. Thought cross my mind several times during the day for the full.

not running it, but my friend Hal is.
I do have a local race I could run on Saturday but I'm passing on it. I missed my son's football game last Saturday because of a race/long run, so don't want to miss this one.
I won't have any more races until my marathon on 6/5.

I'll be thinking of you at Miwok!! I hope the weather is in perfect alignment for you!

Congrats DirtDiva! I had to pull up the results to see how my friend, Hal, did and glanced through the list. You rock! I can't wait to hear about your experience when you return!

Yes, congratulations on your finish. Sounds, and looks like a great race. One of these days, I need to move to California. To have the incredible running options available there seems almost to good to be true. Especially when compared with Cincinnati.

Thanks I did awesome. Wanted a PR but that's ok. I missed by 5 min. but I felt pretty good. I know I didn't eat enough and that's why I slowed a bit.
Just was being lazy and blasting through the aid stations without grabing fruit or gu. I also didn't east my 2 shot blocks every hour. I'm bad.
I killed the last big down hill was trying to drop my pacer ;-)
finished in 13:27.
Oh and i didn't taper
