What a cool race route. Think I would have gotten a little choked up running through campus. Emotions run high during race, it's always so humbling when you see people watching a race, who probably can't run, and it's no choice of their own. Personally it makes me really reflect on my own life and I get a little mad at myself for taking running for granted. Here I am stressing about 10 seconds on a 5k time when I should be happy I can make it to the starting line.
All the runners going through campus had to really be a bright spot in those families days. Seeing all of you running for them. That's cool

Those things did go through my mind especially when I saw kids out there in masks. But they were waving us on and cheering for us. That was what it was all about
: The Kids. It didn't matter how bad we were hurting or how tired we were. The looks on their faces were enough. That is why I'm not to upset because I didn't
PR on this race. It was for them, not me!
