I'm so happy to have found RR. Everyone is so inspiring and encouraging.
I've accomplished a lot that I'm proud of already (6 marathons). I will be running chicago in October and my goal is to
PR, so that means a 3:25 or better. I'm most proud that I have been able to improve my marathon time (even as I age, he he) and continue to stay injury-free with all my training.
That being said, I would say my greatest accomplishment is realizing I can get better every year and I can do it with smart training and not overtraining. I've even taken all my lessons and training experiences and am writing a marathon training book which is due to be released on May 20th....more details to come.
Great thread, I really enjoy reading everyones story. I;m motivated to go run now
