Any Marathon Mainics Here?

Any Marathon Mainics on here? #1896 Here.

I'm not, but have several friends who are. I do recall seeing someone else join here that had her MM number as her sign on, but maybe she didn't stick around.

When I ran Seattle R&R last summer, a friend of mine ran with me and she's a MM and because she runs so many marathons and travels around to various states for many of them, she knows a TON of MM's. It was almost like running with a celebrity because of all the MM's she knew on the course.

My goal over the next year is to become a MM. I have a hard time getting races in the time frame alloted because of work schedules and days off. If I have it my way this year, I will be joining the maniacs. Will be a proud day in my house.

I got in by doing 3 in 3 months. Ran 4 altogether (two years ago) then did 11 full marathons, a 50 miler and a 50K last year.

This year I plan on doing 5. I feel like it's so low, LOL, but every other year will be a race year vs run for fun year. This is a race year.
