Need running route Altoona, PA area

I'm training for the NYC marathon on Nov 7th this year with soem fo my running group. I'm visiting the Tyrone/Altoona PA., area Aug 6 - Aug 11 and looking for
1- a good 12-13 mile route to do for my long run
2- anyone's 2 cents on running the NYC marathon, i.e., I hear its best to get a limo to the start

one of our memebers is from altoona. Matt. if you go to the running clubs forum there is a thread for the altoona running club. I would look that up too. fyi...altoona=hills.
