Congratulations!! I am interested to know what you are doing for training, are you following a plan or are you just running like crazy. Do you already run really long distances like that? I am so excited for you. My first marathon will be after yours so that's why I'm getting all in your business about training!

Well I have done two half marathons since April they were also my first . The last half was on June 6th, then I did an 8k and a 5k and finally decided to sign up for a full since I had been running with people training for it. The longest run I've done is 14, and tomorrow I'm doing 17 The following Friday I'll do 20 then I'll relax a little on the milage that following week and build up again. Its sorta a schedule. Trying to get the milage in this week will be 42 miles I think if all goes well. I'm just tweeking Hal Higdons training schedule with advice from this 70 years YOUNG guy from my gym that still does races. I'm really just hoping not to die out there!

A lil nerves is good sometimes. 11 wks is plenty time to be ready! It's good you have a couple 1/2's under your belt + already up near 14-17 in long run distances. I'd say in 12 wks you'll be planning your next! It's addictive
