I am glad my post helped someone! And you are definately not the only one out there!
I think a certain degree of anxiety is good, it keeps you on your toes and helps to push you a little further when you're tired. But really, all you can do is just use your month to train as smartly as you can (without trying to do too much, too quickly in response to your panic) Rest adequately, and have fun!
Having the half be my first, it was bound to be a learning experience regardless. So, looking back, there are a couple things I would do differently, but really what it came down to is grinding it out those last few miles when my body had had enough. It was loads of fun, and I will definately do it again!
