Yes I hate the Dreadmill!! I avoided it like I avoid the Dentist! Im the beginning there was the safe cozy treadmill with its TV and Ipod for company. Then It was time to start running outside before the first big race. My first 13.1 ( I ran a half before starting on the smaller races because a co worker said I could

). The first time was scary and I talked myself out of it a few times before I finally got out there. Half way through the run I was hooked!! I stoped running on the treadmill and only ran outside. In the winter I went to the running store and got under armour and a face mask. I loved it. Then the snow came and braught ice and unshoveled walk ways. I still ran but was hopping and climbing more then running. By February I had injured my knee and was having to take breaks from running and by March I had to take a complete break to let my knee heal. Eight months later I am starting over. Fearing the roads and walk ways would be hard on my knee, I am starting over on the Dreadmill. I have been running again for a couple weeks with no knee issues and of that I am very glad. I am also finding that I don't hate the Dreadmill as much as I once did and with winter coming I willl be staying inside for most of the runs with a few ventures outside, if there isn't ice on the ground. I will however, look forward to running in the first snow! I love a good snow globe run!

Treadmills can be tedious but they get the job done and I am loving my runs so I am also loving my dreadmill!

The only real drawback is that I don't get my daily dose of skunks, racoons and ground hogs!!!
