Default Pilates

I am considering adding one or two pilates classes per week to my training. Do you think pilates will be as beneficial as weight training in preparation for half marathon distances?

I'm trying out Palates myself. I thing that it is a great ulternative to core and weight training although they have their place aswell. I wouldn't replace weight training completely or core training completely.
