HOW I LOVE THEE

seriously it was the hardest workout i think ive ever done, AND IT WAS THE FIRST FOUNDATION CLASS!! tonight we focussed on body weight exercises - most awesome workout ive done in SO LONG. did "cindy" ( 5 pull ups 10 push ups and 15 squats) as many rounds in 10 minutes as possible (usually goes for 20 minutes but cus we are only little learners we got a 1st time reprieve) i got to 6 and 1/2!!!

SERIOUSLY even if you only do it once DO ITTTTTTT its awesome

What exactly is Crossfit? I see it's a program, but is it a video that you can buy or is it a class that you'd have to find at the gym? It looks kind of like it's based in boot camp, and I love me some boot-camp style workouts.

its not a video as alot of the workouts include lifting weights or gymnastic equipment that most people dont have at hand. classes can be found at affiliate gyms and alot run independently or if your experienced with olympic and power lifting you can get the WOD (workout of the day) form the website and do it alone. it really pushes you beyond what you think you can do, my second class and i deadlifted 50kilos! (133lbs) checkout their website crossfit.com and i think theres a list of gyms etc, plus the WOD is posted there. its one awesome workout, (and for some reason midst the sweat and lactic acid i had HEAPS of fun)

check out crossfit.com it will tell you everything you want to know about crossfit.

I've been part of crossfit since 06. The hardest part is finding a good balace with crossfit. For years I went 5-6 days a week and often felt like I got run over by a truck.
I finally found 3 days a week doing a wod and a tabata wod once a week.
It works for sure.
I got a level 1 cert. in 08 and the running and endurance cert.
I teach a crossfit styled bootcamp 2 days a week. It will get you in shape that's for sure ;-)
