Default In the middle...

I'm smoogy in the middle. I work my abs...I swear I do. My weight is in control.

I have had two kids 7 and 4...I did gain alot of weight with them. It may just be skin (gross I know) anyone have any ideas on how to rid myself of the middle smoog?

I am willing to go all out...hardcore if you will. extreme is good.

If you have had this issue and have taken care of it...tell me your secrets. please.

im not ENTIERLY sure but checking you out on the running log you seem to pack some SERIOUS miles so i dont think its the usual problem people have (of having really strong abs but a layer of fat so their not visable)

a friend of mine told me "having children may be the best thing you ever do for yourself, but its the worst thing to do to your stomach", you could try (and i cant promise this will work) intense moisturising cream (like palmers cocoa butter "tummy butter" i used regular palmers cocoa butter on my stretch marks - i was fat not pregnant - and they dissapated pretty quickly) which will condition the skin making it look tighter and massaging the cream in can stimulate collogen development. dont bother with tightening creams their pretty much a waste of money(their like $80 for 3 months) and the effects are only temporary.

As fit and as thin as you are Geely, it's likely skin which is stretched out from babies. I think the only likely way of getting rid of the excess skin is surgically. Wear it with a badge of honor. Have you ever checked out that insane P90X on television? It looks brutal. It sounds like they target all the areas but maybe that would be something you would "enjoy".

Unfortunately my friend, there is nothing to be done with skin. Once its stretched out it is going to stay that way. You could get a tummy tuck. I'm about to take that option myself due to my large weight loss. Hopefully in June if all my tests come back negitive.

I've heard the px90 is intense. I've been thinking about it for awhile but haven't taken the plunge. If anyone does or ends up doing the px90 let us know how it goes.

P90X = awesome. You don't have to do all the jumping if you don't want to, I sometimes do just a little hop to take some of the impact out. It really is a fantastic workout, and I love that they include yoga & stretching. But I have the same problem with being softer in the middle - I don't understand how I can have awesome definition in my arms, shoulders, and back, and definition in my abs on the sides and top but that middle spot just doesn't want to go anywhere, and I know it's a combination of extra skin from weight loss and carrying a few extra pounds... I wish I could just tell myself to honor respect and love my body for what it is faults and all but we all know it's not that easy
