Just checked out this thread - I have P90X and LOVE it. I want the Insanity work out too, but don't have it. A co-worker (and fellow runner, we did a 10K with a group last year) recommended it to me. I also love Chaz from Yogamazing, it's a podcast I get from iTunes. He is awesome - he has a few yoga for runners podcasts that are fantastic. I love that he doesn't do a cheesy "yoga voice" and that he explains the benefits of each pose as it relates to running.

4 days per week of running, two days strength training, and one day swimming. My running has never been stronger.
I used to run 6-7 days a week and was getting injured quite a bit. The strength training has helped me build a strong core and upper body.

I do pilates one day, and strength training combined with cycling the other days "off" from running. Of course, I still have a long way to go to get properly fit, but I am hoping I am on the right path.

Dude! I'm totally doing the Beach Body "Insanity" workouts...sister workouts to the P90X. I love them! Sean is certaining kicking my butt!!! What do you think? I actually am doing them alternate days, meaning I run one day, then I do and Insanity workout, then I run again, etc....

Hye, the Chaz dude you're talking about - does it come with a video, or is it just him talking? I would love to get into more Yoga, but I'm and idiot and can't do the poses without looking at an example...thus needing the video.

Chaz includes video... you will love him, he doesn't use a condescending yoga voice, and gives tips for modification. I swear that yoga helps increase lung capacity & promote speedy muscle recovery

Talking Crosstraining

I do aerobics twice weekly and spin twice weekly on the days I don't run.
