Default Hike hike hike!

I love hiking and it's my favorite XT activity. In fact, I'm thinking of shirking my responsibilities today to head out for an 11 miler.

In Oregon there are dozens of places to hike...we take 6 of our 7 dogs with us...usually about 12-15 miles about 2 times a week...other then that I do the Insanity Workout and run about 4 days a week.

Living in Oregon and Utah, we are never far away from a good hike

7 dogs! You sound like me! I was doing rez dog rescue and it drove my boyfriend nuts! We had up to 11 dogs at one time in our yard!!! We are down to our two now, but we found homes for 41 total. And yes, I named them all.

Yeah...rescuing is rewarding...my sister and I run a rescue called Animals Forever..we got most of our dogs from situations where people couldn't keep them any longer for whatever reason. A lot of work but its worth it. 11 dogs..wow.

It can be overwhelming at times but fortunately we live in the country so we don't run into issues with neighbors. I run with my almost 3 year old pitbull so he keeps me company during my longer runs. He would prefer to play with his ball!
